Wifi question.

Hi,

My university is now wifi enabled at all campus, and my home is near that campus infact from my roof, there would be around 3 buildings or 2 that would block seeing it through the eye.

Would there be a chance in which I can have an antena on my roof to read long ranged signals, in which I can read the one on campus: i.e: Have the connection at my place?

How far away are you?

Either way you need line of sight for any signal to make it to your house.

So it couldn't happen if there are buildings blocking it? And plus, would I be able to put an antenna to power it up?

No chance, you NEED line of sight for any long range signal to make it.
