A64 recommendation with a DFI NF3 UT 250

Hi,

I have a Xp-120 HS with a good 120mm fan.

I've been reading a lot about A64 (desktop, Mobile, DTR, etc) but I can't make up my mind...

My budget for a cpu is $250 MAX.

I want a quiet system, yet a decent overclock on air - say 2.5ghz with room eventually (2.7ghz)

Should I get the 3400 NC (2.4ghz) 512k L2
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=19-103-484&depa=1
or
the Mobile 3400 CH (2.2 ghz) 62w 1MB L2
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=19-103-477&depa=1

Isn't the mobile supposed to run cooler, therefore overclocking better? I know your mileage may vary...

Would appreciate some feedback/recommendation,

Thanks in advance.

He cant because he has an XP120. He would be limited to a CPU that has an IHS. Personally I'd go for a desktop 3400+ clawhammer

i agree to this, as long as u got CG revision w/ it that is(if they even have one for that core and processor). the revision gives a minor OC boost.

Not really...it was really quite easy mounting my xp-90 on my DTR chip, i pushed quite hard on both sides and nothing happened, won't be much different with xp-120...
