Any advantage to running memory faster than FSB?

I have a laptop with a banias core, with the fsb at 100 (or 99 to be precise). I have some 256mb module in there running at 166mhz with cl 2.5.

I was wondering wether it would hurt performance if i stuck in a 256mb pc1200 module running at 133 at cl 2.5, obviosly it would benefit from the extra 256mb, but would it be worth it to get another pc2700 running at cl 2.5 instead?

But remember, as soon as you stick that PC133 stick in there, you max ram speed is PC133 because you're only as strong as the weakest link.

I personally have a desktop with 100 FSB, more memory helps a bit and ram speed isn't. I bet you won't notice a thing.
