I bought the Logitech Z-560 Speakers from a local retailer on 2/28/2003. Reading the manual, it seems that the speakers have a limited warranty for 2 years. Unfortunately, since Dec-Jan, the speakers have been crackling everytime I play music (left and right front speakers). It's partially my fault as I thought there was a 3 year warranty so I didn't rush to get it fixed.

Do you know if there's anyway I can get out of this bind? Is logitech generally strict on their warranty periods? (I'm over nearly a month as March approaches the 28th)

i dunno, but have you checked for loose connections and updated sound drivers? if it only happens while playing music, it might be outdated drivers
