sapph x850xt to xt PE

guys, hi, new here.
maybe someone already wrote this but I have a sapphire x850xt and would like to softmod it to xt PE, where to get the bios? and the stupid questions: how safe it is? can I get just the ATI bios or need something from sapphire?

I got an AGP version of beastiedk's card, I found 2 xt pe bioses in the ati list

here:
http://www.mvktech.net/index.php?opt...er&filecatid=8

the 2nd to the last is for AGP version right?! also it doesnt matter what brand I got, I can flash it using the ATI bios right?! more silly questions.

actualy there are vivo and non vivo versions of both

what version do u have

it shouldent cause a problem though dhe drivers might throw a fit in the worst case situation but i think i have a program that can modify those bioses to fix that

5779 isn't too bad if it was stock - good luck with your flash. Let us know how it went.
BTW the PE bios will only raise your clocks - you could accomplish the same using rivatuner or ATItool creating a custom profile

you perps lol, just kidding, flashing the bios is good if all you want to do is run PE speeds...no need for OCing programs

Why have PE in there? I would rather somehow have a "crappy" card outperform their "awesome" cards... that is more jawdropping.
