motherboards ddr support?

when i checked the specs. for an AN8, i found that the max supported ddr is
ddr-400? but than will pc-4400 overclocking ram be supported?
 
Yes PC4400 will be supported...weather your MB and CPU will let you run at PC4400 specs is another question ;)...
 
there's no mobo supports higher than ddr400 right now, but you can use DDR550 if you want. people o/c to DDR550 the mobo doesn't complain lol
