Our Internet link through Cogent went down at around midnight UTC. It is being looked at with an unknown time to fix.

They just don't have good luck at Berkely, projects running great, but either electrical problems, or network issues all beyond their control keep cropping up.

More reason to run a backup project.

Apparently they have lost there connection to the internet don't know how long it will be down

Good news bad news......

it seems last night the 100mbit connection came back. however this morning everything is down

i believe this is a planned diagnostic outage so they can figure the power problems the whole building has had the past couple weeks

We just had a (planned) power outage to search for electrical problems in our lab. We will coming back on-line soon and will post more news shortly.
