X800 XT PE owners: come on inside...

Okay, so I just finished setting up my new rig which consists of a 3.0E @ 3.8Ghz w/ an X800 XT PE and I decided to fire up a round of 3DMark05 to see what the system does. now I normally dont give a rat's a** about synthetic gaming benchmarks but in this case its really the only way for me to compare my system against similar ones with the same video card.

I got 5950 on the benchmark and I was wondering if that sounds about right for an X800 XT PE equiped rig?

so if you have an X800 XT PE card, please post what kind of CPU it uses and what your 3DMark05 score is. I just want to get a general idea if I'm in the average neighborhood with my setup

Did you check the project compare? just look for othere X800 Xt PE cards and the cpu speed range of your cpu.

Without o/cing the card, the numbers were about 5800 I think.

X800 Pro Modded to X800 XT PE @ 560/1200
Celeron "D" Prescott 2.66 @ 3.8GHz
OCz PC3500EL @ 2-2-2-5

No overclock on the vid card and stock XT PE speeds came around 5800+ as well.

now thats odd.

I just looked at your 05 scores and you're almost 200 points higher than me.

but what I dont understand is that my CPU score is 500 points higher than yours and we both have the same video card but yet I'm still 200 points lower than you in the overall benchmark score. I wouldnt think that my 200Mhz extra speed in my CPU over yours would yield that much of a difference in CPU score.

whats up with that?

*edit*

nevermind. I just noticed that your XT PE was O/Ced which as I said above, mine isnt. so there's the 200 point difference.
