Dumbest DEA agent on the planet (PG-13 rated)

Shoots himself in the foot during a Gun safety presentation. He has since been fired from the DEA I read somewhere. (pretty funny when he asks for the AK47 the students yell at him to put it away after shooting himself with the Glock)

that was weird, when he shot the gun, nobody moved, freakin weird, then they scream when he pulls the big gun (i dont think its an AK47) , WTF?

besides that, i thought it was rather stupidly funny

What was funny was he was fired not for shooting himself in the foot, but by allowing himself to be videotaped. He apparently was a DEA agent that was involved in undercover work, and the video compromised himself.

Great video, saw it on collegehumor. Guy kept on talking after he shot himself in the foot, instead of getting medical attention. Real smart guy there.

riiiiight....

well, at leas the proved to the kids first hand, that accidents can and do happen when messing with guns. All the kids learned so fast, they instantly wanted him to put the big gun away!

ISnt a AK47, its a CAR-15. A variant of the AR15 designed as a tactical entry weapon.

I bet that guy is removed from the DEA now anyways. If doing a lecture on firearm safety and using firearms as props, you make damn sure theres no ammo even brought into the room. The only loaded weapon an officer should have is his sidearm which should NOT be removed from its holster. You shouldnt even had magazines inserted into the demonstration weapons in the first place. This clown violated the first rule of firearm safety, treat all weapons as loaded. You NEVER put your finger on the trigger unless you intend to fire. The only thing he did right was keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction.

No he had the slide open when he picked it up. If you are familiar with glocks you can see the magazine was inserted. Only way you can have a round in the chamber without a clip in it with the slide open is if you physically placed it into the chamber.

He was fired not for shooting himself in the foot but for allowing the Video to be taken, It's against DEA policy to allow a DEA agents face to be video taped if hes involved in undercover operations.

Its news to me. This is the first I've heard of it.

What a clown! I believe firearm demonstrations are double-edged. They should be accompanied by a hospital visit, to see the victims of negligent firearm use.
Otherwise, it does more harm than good.
