hi there
i have a packard bell easy one silver and i know it runs at a fsb of 100mhz
the thing is that i would want it to run at 133 fsb and i know it's some switches on the mobo
i just have no clue about what ones
i found that it is a nec mobo in it

thanks in advance
kenneth

I doubt you'll find any good info on a Packard Bell, but even if anybody does know something about them, we'd need some more specifics. How about the machine's model #, the processor in it etc.....

oki here we go
what i found from crystalcpuid is :
intel p3 18 um
codename coppermine socket 370
micricodeid 01
brand id 02
family 6
model 8
stepping A
L1 I-cashe 16 kb
L1 D-cashe 16 kb
L2 cashe 256 kb
fsb 100 mhz
multiplier 10x

as for the mobo all i can find is that it's a neck international
easy one silver model 7521N
i hope that helps someone out there that might be able to tell me some about it
and how to get it up to 133 fsb
thanks in advance
kenneth

Didn't realize that it was a laptop. Best to leave those alone, they run hot enough to begin with. Not too much overclocking to be done with laptops. Most won't even allow for it. As for the dip-switches. I couldn't find anything on that board other than its' chipset SIS634 and that there are BIOS updates for it.

that's my problem too that i can't find a d*** thing about the mobo
for the bios i have the latest one that pb have
ooowell guess i have to live with the slow thing for a little while longer since i can't afford a new one for now
but thanks anyway
