Hi,
I need to purchase an A/V switch because I have run out of inputs on my reciever. I want to use an audio digital cable(not optical). All of the A/V switchs I have seen have L/R RCA, composite video, and s-video and some support optical.
Why don't any A/V switches feature the other cable type for digital audio? Then I finally realized that any old RCA cable should work. So can I use one side of the L/R RCA plugs to pass the digital audio?
The A/V switch I am looking at is from RatShack cause it is only $20.
