ever since i booted up my computer today i noticed a conciderable amount of computer lag when playing games. lowering, raising the video settings would still get me the same type of lag so i opened up task manager and saw that this "System" process was eating up all my cpu while my system idle was at 0% all the time. does anyone have any idea how i can fix this? thanks

Could be spyware.

Try running Spybot(search and destroy), Ad-Aware, Microsoft Antispyware. Any of those should do fine, better to run a couple of them though.

Are you using a browser called "Maxthon"? Some sites, not all list Maxthon.exe as spyware.

It also looks like you have a lot of services starting at start-up like, AIM, MS Messenger, Daemon Tools, Viewmgr.exe is used to update Viewpoint Media Player. So if your not using any of those I would disable them at start-up. they will still work, but just not automatically at start-up.
