In the military and deployed. Picked up a copy of HL2 jst before leaving and didn't try to install it until I left. I can't play without Internet access?!?!

Is there any way I can play without Internet access? I can't install HL on a government computer and can't put my personal computer of a government domain. There are no options for me to get Internet access while I am here. Sucks to think I have the game but can't play it for months.

Are there already threads for this here? Didn't see any.

yah darn steam is weird.... hate it sometimes but i feel you with military domain's it sucks here in Camp Pendleton too. i hate it. Thank god i decided to go home and installed it there.

there are ways. Don't know if it is is classified as warez or not, or in the same category as cracks, so we can't discuss it on the forums. I will just point you to a Gaming News site, which may also have certain other sections. Of course, I am only pointing you there for the gaming news...
