Angry RT 314 and @home

Hi. I used to have a cable internet service that had dynamic ip addy's, and it ran fine on my rt314 router, but now that I have @home, I can't get my cable to run thru my router..I have all the settings on paper, but att's site had you set tcip to automatically assign ip addy's, so now I'm confused. What do I set to what in the router, and where do I put the c519046_A command? I've been doing computers forever, but neworking is fairly new to me.

Well firstly, try performing your Router reset as per the manual. Next thing is let it sit for a bit, and your router will find your Modem, it might take a while it might do it right away, you never know. But all should work well once you have all that done.

Hope that helps!

Using the defaults should work fine. They did fine when I had @Home (and I do have the RT314).

After you get it working you should be able to tweak a few settings although I don't find this router much in the line of tweaking...
