Radeon7000 vs LE

Which is a better card?

I've noticed that there are 32 meg and 64 meg radeon 7000 cards.

i reckon your talking about the radeon 7500? i dont believe there is a 7000 and if you are in fact talking of a radeon 7500 it would crush a radeon le, it faster than a geforce2 pro......

the radeon 7000 is better than the radeon le. the le is the radeon7000 except that its clock speed is 143/143 instead of 166/166. also hyper-z is diabled in direct 3d games. the 7500 is diffrent, i belive its just a faster radeon 7000 but i could be wrong.

I've never heard of the 7000, and assume you're all talking about the 7500. I heard that it has a 290mhz core clock and outperforms older radeons by 60%.

Well, Skull Guy, there are all kinds of radeons in the 7x00 series, including the 7000, 7200, and the 7500 which seems to be the only one that you beleive in. It only makes sense that there will be more variations than that out soon cause we've almost got all these figured out.

Uhh, either the 7000 or 7200 are SDR, to tell you the truth, I can't remember.

If the card is SDR, than the LE is faster (its DDR)

here is my take on the Radeon pecking order

5)Radeon 7000(also known as Radeon VE)
4)Radeon 7200(This is a SDRAM version of the Radeon DDR)
3)Radeon DDR( A hacked LE is the same as this)
2)Radeon 7500
1)Radeon 8500
