Question Is it software or an hardware issue?

Alright well I've overclocked my card a lot somewhere around 430/1200... The thing is I can run every 3dmark fine without any artifacts or anything except 2001se... The thing that's so weird about it though is that when I run 2001se the only test that freezes and then resets itself is the first low setting test with the car... All the other tests even nature I can run perfectly fine... So my question is what could be the problem?

I'm not sure what the problem is, but 01 has a definite dislike for running at the same clocks that 03 runs at, I don't know why it does it either but it does.

What confuses me the most about 2001se is that everyother test besides the first one works just fine with no problem at all...

You may have a driver, DX9 or AGP software issue. Also, does it run fine at stock clocks?

Storm, the issue is, when you push your overclocks to far car high and sometimes car low usually crashes while all the others run. It kind of weird and it held El<()>maxi back from doing some really nice s754 bench runs. It kind of a weird thing and it has me hoping it has a solution, but despite my research I don't have an answer yet.

He has wacked his driver installation by excessive overclocking. He needs to reinstall his motherboard drivers, DX9 and video drivers. Then he needs to watch his BIOS and other overclocking settings so that he doesn't do it again.

The Neo2 Platinum is a very good board but it has many quirks. The BIOS settings must be perfect if you want to avoid stability problems. Check out this thread and make sure all of your settings are correct.

Also, move to CAS 2.5, as the TCCD Corsair 3200XL really likes it. If you are not running your TCCD on at least 3.0 volts you should be running something like 2.5-4-3-7 for the highest overclocks.

well I have my TCCD at 2.5-3-3 10 T1 Timings and have memtest that over night on test 5 with over 800 passes, and no errors... So I'm pretty sure my memory timings are alright. But it might be a bad driver or OS problem because I had to RMA my other ram because it went bad, and could had corrupted some files...

I had that exact same problem, thought it was only me. The second car low would load, it would just hardlock. I could only complete that test at default speeds myself. Not so bad since you can run every test out of order, so it won't affect scores too much. Certainly an annoying issue, just one of the few that got that bad boy outa my system
