Water Cooling Question...

Water Cooling Question...


Lets say that I have my pump and its pumping water through a 9 millimetre tube for around 1 metre then the tube is connected to a 6 mm tube for another metre and then to my water block. What im saying is that if the tube goes larger to smaller the water will speed up then giving better water temps. Am i right? I really want to know if this is correct.

I dont think it will make a difference in temps

you can have a 150gph pump and get the same temps as a 400gph pump

Going to a smaller tube is probably not going to help, in fact, it might hurt your flow rates.

Smaller tubes equal a faster velocity for the water. Forgot the formula, but that is how it works. HOWEVER, going to a smaller tube is going to decrease the amount of water going through.
