Laptop drive recommendations

The 60gig toshiba drive in my laptop took a dive a few days ago, now I need a replacement. I'm looking for some recommendations. Speed and price are more important than space.

The hitachi 7K60 is the best hands-down laptop drive on the market today, specially if you are not in need for more than 60 GBs. You'll notice a huge performance increase and being 7200rpm they also don't take more power than their 5400 rpm cousins... very reliable also... and affordable at this time.

I absolutely concur. I've been using these since their release and had excellent results.
