How can I test my PSU?

Can you be a bit more specific?

How to test it by powering it on outside of the case? How to test it by checking the voltages and how to use a meter to do it? Where to buy a plug in ATX PSU tester?

I see you all talk about voltage stability a lot and people saying their PSU if very stable. How do they know?

Try folding for Team32 or play a game then measure the rails with DMM while in action. You can also loop 3DMark01 and do the same procedure. The DMM will give more of a peice of mind with your result compare to software readings.

is the only way to test my psu with a DMM? Is there a program that does it?

dmm is the most reliable method

What he said completely..........Although you can try speedfan but then again DMM is the only way to go.
