Norton Causing Floppy Drive To Go Crazy

I have Norton Internet Security 05 installed on my machine and everytime I use my floppy drive and then say afterwards shut down the machine. My floppy drive which should just make a 1 sec noise go off like crazy then CAPP.exe shows up then I have to click on end task to stop it. Is there anyway to fix this cause it's doing my head in

I have Symantec Corporate ver 8 and it has an option to check the floppy drive upon sys shutdown, it can and should be disabled, IDK how to do it for your software, but check for 'floppy' and/or 'shutdown' in the help menu, and it should tell u

Yes I found it, it was under Advanced for Auto Protect I was looking for that for ages I could never find it thanks red no more annoying floppy drive nosies.

same here! maybe il turn it off too. norton sux ima download avg or something. anyways my subscription is outdated. emule here i come

what ver do u have: http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/download/pages/US-SAVCE.html
because I think that the exe will update all of their versions of AV, the subscription is just a convenience thing afaik.
