audigy 2 zs notebook "device cannot start"

i bought this soundcard for my lappy 2 months ago and just barely got around to playing with it. all the drivers seem to install ok, but when i check the device manager it says there is a problem. so i check the properties and it says device cannot start. i have tried uninstalling it several times along with also physically removing it from the slot and i get the same error. what am i doing wrong?

have you tried installing it into a different slot?

and try dling new drivers for it

yeah, i tried that thanks anyway. after calling creative they are giung to accept it as an RMA. yay 2 more weeks and i have 5.1 on my lappy!

oh, ok thats great! and trust me, that Audigy on the lappy beats anything any other lappy can do
