50z not starting... please help!

As stated in the title...

So this is my first watercooling system. In the line I have:

AX 50z-> BIX 2-> D-Tek Whitewater-> T-line-> AX 50z

In any case, I plug in the 50z to the psu and jump the psu. I have a couple Sanyo Denki's attached to the BIX 2 and they spin up like they got some place to go, but the 50z just sits there.

Here's where I think the problem might lie: I sleeved the cable coming from the 50z, and in the process of removing the 12v molex pin I bent it to a 90 degree angle. I was able to bend it back, but obviously it's not perfect. Could this be where my problem is lying? And if so, I could just remove the pins and maybe cut it a bit shorter and slap some new ones on, correct?

Thanks for everyone's help! I have places to be so I won't be able to respond until later tonight!

ps - this is on the rig in my sig, though it's being put into a Chieftec Matrix case, original case was a Tt Tsunami.

yeah, try a different wire and see if that helps... could be you messed up the wire/pins on the line you're trying

no dice ... replaced the pins by cutting them shorter and tried the new connection on several different female ports from the psu, and it's still not turning on when the PSU is jumped... any ideas?

Defective pump? I can't imagine that it is too quiet to hear, but that also may be possible.

that is what i'm thinking will be the case, I emailed Cooltechnica's support to see if there was anything I was missing, and if there isn't I fully intend on RMA'ing it. I just hope that I can get the replacement quickly, as I graduate in 10 days adn family will be in town and I wanted the entire rig up and running so I could show my pop as he's never seen a WC rig before.

*crosses fingers*

rock on cooltechnica support! so i don't know if this was my fault or theirs, but the cables from the pump were reversed, so i just popped them out, switched them around, and put them back in, and now it works! i suspect it might have been sent that way, as it was the first and only comment from the support rep, but maybe he's just psychic!

thanks for everyone's support in this little hiccup of my adventure! will be posting pics/log soon!
