If anyone could help me find drivers for a pc chips m863g v3.0C (micro-atx)
I would be GREATLY appreciated, I cant even find the drivers for it on the pcchips website. Here is a link to the board
http://www.pcchipsusa.com/prod-m863gv30c.asp

It is in a friends computer and he is having issues with the lan connection among other things. Thanks for any help anyone can give.

This board uses the SiS741GX chipset, SiS's website (http://www.sis.com/) ought to have a set of drivers that you might try-Although some boards might not care for some of the driver revisions that they have.

The network problem might possibly stem from the NIC MAC Address corrupting, or need to be reset as well.

A good site you ought to try asking this question, is on The Rebels Hardware Computer Forums. (http://www.rhcf.com/sis-bin/ultimatebb.cgi) they have a good deal of knowledge on boards made with SiS chipsets, Asrock/ECS/PCChips in particular. They might have a better answer for you than most other sites, actually.

cool, appreciate the help, here's the weird thing though.... I built this system for my friend about 3 weeks ago, anyways I plugged it into our router and it worked perfect browsing the internet, file transfers etc

but then he took it home just got cable internet and plugged it in, windows detects it and says its connected but it cannot lease an ip address. so for the meantime i plopped a new ethernet card in and it works fine, so i have no clue whats goin on
