(Situation resolved) frozencpu = crooks!

the lovely guys and gals must have had a laugh over my expence.

i put a order in for a DDRBX tygon 3/8 by 1/2 [3606] 2 compression fitting for 3/8 by1/2 16 reusable 3/8 by 1/2 plastic hose clamps and a BIE shroud

the shroud was the only good thing that fit and was not broken, i was excited to finish off my water cooling whole pc stripped down MB out just to find out the lucite top on the RBX was cracked out of the box i didnt even get the plastic off the bottom yet.!! they did not send tygon3606 but 2 feet of crap thats 1/8 inch thick compresion fittings same made for 1/8 not what the reciept says and all the hose clamps made for 1/8 " tubing 33 dolars worth of crap and a rbx with a cracked top.

the site says no refunds tomorrow i will get on the phone with them as they were closed when i found this out. anyone have ideas or deal with these clowns?

for a double header of frustration my leadtek 6800U did not show up and fed-ex tracking said it was delivered after 2 hours of calls and searching found it! at some less then desirable folks next door who didnt call or come over with it, i had to track it down and ask oh well its safe.

I've had good experiences with FrozenCPU... One time had a problem with a cracked acrylic window, called them and they sent a new one out ASAP.

Good luck to you!

Calma calma.

I've ordered a good chunk of stuff from frozencpu over the years, never had a problem. So try to atleast give them the benifit of the doubt when you call. Dont be rash and dont be angry. Making them angry isnt going to help you.

They might not refund the stuff to you but they will replace it. Just be patient. And don't kill your neighbor for not going out of his/her way to be your personal postal delivery man.

i prefer starting with the calm and collected attitude, moving on to obvious frustration, followed by angry ranting if they don't bend to my will. when they give up easy, its so much less envigorating.

im calm i just planned the day around my build and it went to crap because they have wrong info posted on there website as well as sending me junk instead of what i paid for.

and jamesavery22 im not going to kill my neighbors for not returning the gpu but if they knew it was a 6800U i would have never got it back, we know they steal gas out of my dads truck [there on drugs]

Don't forget to make use of the time difference--Frozen CPU is in New York and you're in California--and they open at 10 AM EDT so you can call them at 7 AM your time.

I didn't have any problems the couple of times I bought from them, so I imagine they'll make it right, and if you get a hold of them early enough, they might be able to over-night your stuff so you'll have it for the weekend.

Sounds like they made a mistake and hired some bad help.

The company itself tho has a good reputation.

Thats not unusual actually, for a delivery guy to leave something next door if you're not home. Has happened to me before, but my neighbors aren't shady people at all.

my neighbors weren't home when fedex came to deliver they're dell, so they came to us. no biggi, i got no use for a dell! plus i went over to their house to help them in initially order it
on another ocassion, when my bluestorm was supposed to be delivered @ my house (was delivered according to fedex's site), i got home and it wasnt there
so i got a little curious, went to the site i ordered it from and surelly enough i punched in the wrong address for them to deliver to! i mis-typed it. it was supposed to be 4296, but i put in 4295. 4295 DOESNT EXIST! surelly enough they delivered it to the ppl accross the street, so i just ran over and nabbed it off their porch

Outhouse, make sure you leave your experience at http://www.resellerratings.com/seller2013.html .
FrozenCPU I've heard in the past does a lot to get negative reviews removed and may be a little more generous in compensating you for your loss if you let the world know how much they screwed up your build. I think their high ranking is also over rated because they bribe all new customers with an offer of some free stuff if they post a review.

I had a really bad experience with them over a power supply. They bribed me with half off a Zalman GPU cooler. I took them up on the deal but won't ever buy from them again.
