The new dual core Opteron - what ya think?

I haven't read much about the new Opteron, but I just wanted to find out what people think about it. Too bad those things are too stinkin expensive. I would love to throw one in a desktop PC case and see how it does.

i don't tknow about the opteron but i sure do see this thread and its somewhat very promising, although it was posted on an earlier thread i think AMD has something good coming out of their lab... http://www.hardocp.com/article.html?art=NzY2

Expect to see 1 way Opterons on socket 939 if rumours prove to be true.
