6800 LE Ultra Benchmarks

I never ran benchmarks before so I decided to give that a shot.

I ran the demo 3DMARK '03 on my eVGA 6800 LE Ultra (16/6 pipes, 256MB
o'ceed @ 400/1100)

My score: 11,535

That's with the latest nVidia drivers.

Is that a good score for that card?

Well this LE I have from eVGA was originaly an Ultra that didn't pass the eVGA tests.

So eVGA slapped over a few stickers that say Limited Edition (LE) and sold them rather
then throw them away.

Essentialy, its an underclocked Ultra (mine was 350/1100 but I bumped it up for the
benchmark test).

I'm using the nVidia 71.89 drivers

you need to flash your bios to a regular ultra bios to unlock the overclocking potential of the card, the LE bios cripples it. also, consider flashing to a 1.5v bios. Also don't forget to take it apart and change the thermal crap on the ram!

p.s. you're 7 months late

I flashed the LE GT modded BiOS and right now I'm playing Republic Commando
@ 450/1100 without any artifacts.

I have a feeling the memory is where I'm going to a have hard time though.

Will post back my results asap!

Ok, this is kind of weird.

The games I tried @ 450/1100 seem to work fine but when I ran 3DMARK, it crashed
in the the second test (right after the WWII plane fight).

It seems the only settings that I was able run 3DMARK without any type of graphic
glitches or lock ups is @ 425/1125

The Troll Lair portion being the part showing the most visual corruption at anything
5MHz above 425/1125

More updates:

This time I used CoolBits to determnie the limt and it caps @ 440/1125

I flashed a modded eVGA BiOS clocked BFG Ultra OC settings giving me 425/1100 by
default and re-ran 3DMARK '03. I scored 11,970

Maybe something else is crippling the performance
