Need some advice

Hi Everybody
Im looking for a laptop in the 1500 range, so far i like the toshiba-p35
Compaq-x611ous Presario. the one that im really looking at is the Sager NP4750
Supra, after customize it's 1469. I want a 17 in screen it will be used for school
im in digital media,can anybody help me out there are so many to choose from.
Im off to best buy just to look but i thought it was best to buy on line,from your poll is it dell that got a high rating? im lost please help thanks.

Yah, if you go to circuit city I predict that you will find a Sony Vaio for about $500 less than it goes for on Amazon.com. Further, I predict that it will come with about $400 in additional rebates bringing the price down to about half of what most people would pay.
