I got two powerware 5119 that say 1440v/960w on the back of each one. I want to protect my samsung 30" tube hdtv with one and a denon theater receiver with the other. They seem to work, but I want to make sure I am protecting my pc gaming setup. If anyone can tell me for sure I would really appreciate the advice. thanx eric

i got them free and i just lost a really nice receiver and dvd to a texas lightning storm while hooked to a surge protecter i got at a hardware store

As long as you don't exceed the manufacturer's max watts for the UPS you'll be find. I had a 36" Philips TV hooked up to an APC UPS for about a year. Kept the TV on for a while when the power went out!
