Does Saphire offer a 9800 256mb Non-Pro? Did they offer it in the past? I can't find anywhere they would have offered it. I have a friend that showed me Pics of his ATI properties that say its a Non-Pro with 256mb from Saphire yet Saphire themselves does not offer one on their site.

Any ideas? He ran Atitool and it didnt show anything to say it was a Pro or Not. What clearly justifies it being a Pro or Not?

Im a little confused as to what this report is that your talking about.

I suppose the main question is what determins the diffrence between the Pro and the Non-Pro besides Video Mem or is that the only factor?

clocks if i'm thinking right, there is a diffrence in the se/np/pro/xt clocks... thats all, can't type anymore, going to fall asleep...zzzzzzzz

Would you know if any other company besides Powercooler makes a Non-Pro with 256mb Video?

I found this site which offeres bios updates for cards which also show Ati and Saphire with 256mb Ram on Non-Pro versions

http://www.techpowerup.com/bios/biosdetails.php?b=Sapphire.9800NP.256.Hynix33.031003.bin

http://www.techpowerup.com/bios/biosdetails.php?b=ATI.9800NP.256.Hynix33.031003.bin

It does appear that Ati, Powercooler and Sapphire are the only 3 companies to provide this rare card. Still Sapphire doesnt currently offer it therefore it must have been a limited edition sale or somthing.
