Have you tried other bpoards or different memory slots? Command rate has alot to do with the MB itself...

That RAM should be able to run 1T....However...it's certaintly not certified for 3.4v (sig) or 3.6...max is 3.0

Default the BIOS and start with all standard settings and then try 1T...

am i really missing out on alot of performance by not being able to run 1T ??? i meen actual real world performance, as this is a gaming rig only.

You shouldn't really see too much difference in games though, so don't stress... Maybe 1-2frames... (although this is all dependant on what settings you use and what games we are talking about, but if you are playing any modern game, it will be BY FAR more GPU intensive than anything else)

Also, I was wondering can you run 1t with one stick?

Basically MB + Mem = CPC ability

For instance, my 4200EL plat will run 1t at like 230 max on my a8n-sli but in the 300's on my DFI...

Have you flashed to the lastest bios and tried clearing your CMOS? There is no reason this ram shouldn't run with 1T. Also lower your memory voltage. The hynix chips in that ram don't need (and wont take) that much voltage

Are you running an SATA drive on either of the SATA ports 1 or 2? If so...move them to 3/4 and try again. Ports 1&2 can't be locked.

no sata ... however i have it more or less stable now @ 1T 10x270 1:1 8-4-4-3 2.8v strange how the lesser voltage makes it more stable at 1T !!! it wouldnt stabilize at 2.8v without the booster ! oh and my bios is set to bord max of 2.85, whereas the booster is set to 2.8v. any forseable problem there ? i dont want to play with the bios now that its stable

Some good suggestions already, but just wanted to throw out there you shouldn't settle for 2T, test it on another board...

i'm not going to at 270x10 8-4-4-3 1:1 1T i get around 1000mb's more in sisoft mem test over 280x10 7-4-4-2.5 1:1 "2T". so im going to stay at stock vcore 270x10 8-4-4-3 "1T" ! even with 100 less mhz it seems to run alot better, desktop and gaming and my benchmaks only went down by 100 points, which who gives a rats a$$

Edit: you know i was supprised at how much diff there is between 2T and 1T ..........

looks like im' going to have to *settle* for 2T. i can run benchmarks all day long. 3dmark2001, prime95 etc. but soon as i try and actually play a game .. it either locks up or reboots ! tryed every voltage known to man. all diff timmings. don't understand why 3dmark01, and 03 run fine, but a low spec game like CoDUO crashes it within 5 mins ! same with FarCry.
