Going to school gets you zero dollars in your pocket.
Having a job gets you some dollars in your pocket.

In this materialistic society fun and happyness comes from dollars in your pocket. Dollars in pockets means you can buy a gizmo for your computer and have fun.

He is getting an education, which is an oportunity for future employment, which will result in calculable dollars. Not dollars in his pocket.

Sigh, I have a 15 minute biology presentation due tomorrow, a poetry project due next week, a huge history group project that I have to fix up everyone's sucky work, and finals the week after. Yay for teachers and not doing their jobs! Yay for cramming 5 chapters into the last 2 weeks! YAY!

I get out the 31 of May. We have our last 2 finals the Tuesday after Memorial day. How dumb is that to have finals after a 3 day weekend? Oh well.

So to make this into a discussion, How was you guys' school year? Was it a particularly good one, a particularly bad one, or just one more grueling year until the wonderful end of it all?

I have to say mine wasn't bad. This is my junior year of highschool so I've only got one more year after this. This was definately the hardest year of school I have had. Probably because I keep taking more and more advanced classes. I started doing theator tech which sucked up all of my free time in the last few weeks before performances. A lot of work, but a lot of fun. Next year is going to be work, work, work because I'm taking 3 AP classes. Ack, I'm going to have tons of fun. That's why I'm not particularly anxious for school to be over this year. It's amazing what it takes to have a good looking transcript these days.
