Will my modem work in another country???


Hi guys I have a laptop pc and want to take it over to South Africa, will the modem built in to it work in another country???

It is an onboard one but I'm just wondering if the conections will be the same as United Kingdom conectors??

i am not sure what kind of phone plugs south africa use but i am pretty sure you can get an adapter for the correct plug

I am 99.9% sure RJ-11 (Registered Jack Eleven) is a universally-recognized jack.

From the 30 seconds of looking, it doesn't look like RadioSmack has any adapters for forign phones. To be sure, though, I would ask in person at your nearest RadioSmack or Electronics shop.
