In 2 weeks I'll finally upgrade too a 6600GT it's £120 from Overclockers.co.uk with a 500mhz core clock and 900mhz mem clock. Anyways whats the best drivers for a 6600GT from the nVidia.com site or does it depend on my system.

The NGO 76.10(0.7 i believe they are callled) or the XG 75.90 gave me the highest aquamark gfx scores at stock settings. The XG 76.50,76.10, and the NGO 76.50 are good as well.

I just dl'd those 76.10's from extreme G off of guru3d and they didn't even have a .inf file in them so I could install a driver lol.

I used drivercleaner and then went to install the XG driver and I nearly **** myself when it came back, "cant find anything to install"

What are they doing hosting driver packages that don't have drivers in them??

LOL

Unless I am missing something... but there are no instructions that come with the driver package or anything so...

PS... PLUS I don't see any support for the 6600GT cards either...

Problem solved, heh

It seems I had missed on checking a relevant box so the driver would install..

Once I figured that out, [which would of been easier to sus out had they given people more instruction] it all became clearl..

I DL'd both of the drivers mentioned above, as well as a couple others, and the NGO 0.7 drivers gave me the best results. Although, if I clocked my video card too high they would cause weird coloration on some specific parts of 3Dmark 05.
