laptop monitor faded real bad

laptop monitor faded real bad


hi everyone. i tried soldering the power connector for the adapter that is located on the motherboard because it came loose and now the monitor is very faded but working and it would be the same if i used a monitor connected to the laptop.the laptop is a fujitsu lifebook did i fry something, because i went over all of the connections and couldnt find anything out of the ordinary.any help would be appreciated

OK first question: What do you mean by "it would be the same if..."?

Did you actually test it or are you just saying waht you think might happen?

If you were to plug in a normal monitor to the laptop, no, it shouldn't be like the lcd screen ON the laptop.


BTW, just for the heck of it, serch around on ebay for a replacement lcd for the laptop for cheap, n see if that fixes the problem.
