It’s not multi-tasking, but the Floating Point is fast enough.

This score cannot say that no one follow up, but it must be without precedent

Your SuperPI score is kinda ****ty when considering your clocks. I would expect to see something closer to 25 seconds not almost 29

SMP lets you do 2 things at the same time at the same speed, not 1 thing twice as fast. (excluding mutithreaded apps and other random exceptions to the above broad statement)

super pi&cpumark do not support SMP :p

AMD Dual Core
Athlon 64 X2 4400+ 2.2G 1MB
Athlon 64 X2 4800+ 2.4G 1MB

At 3000+ MHz single A64 CPU, Sandra Dhrystone is usually around 13000+ MIPS (close to 14000).

Your Sandra screen shot of the X2 at 3000 MHz recorded a Dhrystone of around 27000+ MIPS.

Can you verify using Windows XP Task Manager that both cores are highly utilized (100% or close to that) during a Sandra CPU benchmark run to achieve twice the Dhrystone MIPS of a single core.

That is, post a Windows XP Task Manager showing the utilization of the two cores during a Sandra CPU benchmark run.

if game devel. start programing for smp, i'm goin' dual core!
since i'm a gamer i think a venice or fx series would better suit my needs
Nice results!! :D
