I can't even load windows. After it detects input devices, it goes to a black screen. Then I hear the floppy drive work and THEN I get that error. "PCI Parity Error Press F1 to Continue, F2 to Reboot".

I tried disconnecting all of my PCI cards and I still get that error. My motherboard is gigabyte, OS win2k. Any ideas?

Have you changed any drivers lately?
It can be caused by a driver error, not the hardware itself.

Can you at least boot into safe mode with F8? (press right after cd search).

If yes to both of the above, try rolling back the driver you changed...can't remember the process for win2k, it's been a while.

Luck to ya.

That was next...the bios sets up how everything talks to each other, so a reset would help fix any glitch it might have picked up.

Glad you got it though..
