I went against everything I know, and bought everything that I hate.
Just wanted to see if it would live up to be as bad as I expected.
Its not as bad as I thought, but deffiantly not as good as everyone makes it out to be. My P4 drags this thing in circles in desktop applications, and the 6800U/P4 combo are faster in 03 GT1 which is supose to be greatly affected by CPU power. The a64 is better with WinRar, and a tad quicker in SuperPi than my 640, but the 660 just smokes it.
Its a good set up, but I would never trade in the P4 for one of these. Im sure that anyone else with a P4 and a a64 will understand where I am comming from. Those that haven't used a P4 don't understand what Im talking about, so don't pretend.
Nothing fancy. 3500+ Ultra D, OCZ VX 4000, x800xl (6800Gt kills this card), OCZ 520w PSU.
Video Card is pelt cooled, vGPU 1.75v, all the speed goodies done to it, and it falls flat on its face.

For anyone that says a 6800GT is faster, they are wrong. My clocked GT, on regular water with 1.4v walked all over this vGPU pelt cooled, suposed GT killer. Fun card to play with, good for the money, but not a GT killer by any stretch of the imagination.
Anything else you guys want to see?
Oh, the one thing that I can say is that the IHS on my CPU sucked. I had idle temps around 33c at first, then it would jump to 52c under load and the max stable clock was 2800mhz on 1.5v. I popped the top off, and now she is naked running 27c idle, 42c load 1.63v which is much much better.
Oh, and for everyone looking at a water block, and want to run either a DTR or naked chip, my 6002-775 with the stepped base clears the ZIF socket fine. No need to grind it down, no reason to try and buy a flat base 6000/6002.
