How-To Wi-Fi always on --> A8V Deluxe?

Quick question people...


Is there a way to leave the wifi broadcast on (i.e. the "SoftAP mode") even when the system is off? I hate having to turn on my main computer when I just want to browse the net on the thinking stool!

maybe a setting in the BIOS or some other power wiring?

i think the clue is in the name, its a "softAP", ie software access point. i highly doubt it will operate using standby power while the main rig is turned off.

for that kind of functionality you really need a dedicated hardware AP/wireless router.
