Status code 128 is makign em shutdown help. I dont have long to mak e athread. It says it is /system32/Lsass.exe

Sasser worm, start in safe mode and do a virus scan.

Yes you do.
It's not necessarily sasser, other worms like W32.Ahker.G@mm use the lsass.exe file too (according to sarc.com).
Start the computer in safe mode and virus scan. If you're updates are behind, start in safe mode with networking, and get them.

Yeah, many different names, "Blaster" included, but the "Status code 128" shutdown usually means Sasser.

If you're not running an AVP, try out TrendMicro's online scan "Housecall", it saved me a few times:

I googled it after yout old me what it was and i came across a site that tolod me what it was and how to get rid of it. All is good now. Thanks alot.

Cool beans!

My wife gave me sasser-p across the network, but AVG caught it...she's not on my network anymore
I have her fresh wininstall ghosted, so when she cacks it (and you know she will) I rewrite it and she starts all over again.
