Problem when I download from ftp://ftp...

I have a small network which consists of two computers. Second computer goes to internet thorough first one via small home network connection of Windows XP. And two ethernet card and an ethernet cable are used between two machines. When I want to download a file at the main computer which is connected to internet directly via cable modem, from an address like given here, ftp://ftp.aopen.com.tw, it times out and stops. When I do samething at the dependant computer it works fine. I have tried this both at IE and at Firefox. The result is same and negative. Any idea and help. Thanks...

Note: I might be sending this topci to a wrong section of the forum, please excuse me and I like to have moderators to redirect it to a correct subsection ,if required

i would suggest looking at the firewall settings or something. i duno tho, it seems like a weird problem. you might be able to fix it by getting a router to share the connection, instead of the windows ICS
