This is weird.

This is weird.


I took off my heatsink on my X700pro to put new AS5 on it, I was cleaning off the GPU and on it it said PCI-Express, but the thing is that my card is AGP. I was wondering why my GPU had that on there.

Maybe they use the same gpu on the pci-e cards?

That could be the reason, but why not change it to say agp instead.

To save money.

They probably think most people aren't going to see it anyway. How many people do you think would take the time and effort to do anything that involves removing the HSF on a x700? I bet most people who buy those are not enthusiasts so they just buy it and stick it in with everything stock.
