ok im wondering if there is anyway to get a better performance from my hard drive. heres the deal i have my cd-rom drive pigy backed to my hd, then from hd to primary ide. should i not do this? or should i just run my hd on primary ide, and run my cd-rw/dvdrom secondary ide?if so what should i be setting my jumper settings to them. btw im runnin an wd 40 giger at 7200 rpm and soon gonna be runnin a lite on cd-rw/dvd rom. or is this even possible? im still pretty new to this stuff so, sorry if i sound like a total idiot.
