I've found a couple of good deals, one on a set of 5 Seagate 18GB X15s (first gen), another on a ServeRAID 4LX + 6-connector cable. This will be going into a 760MPX system (has 66MHz/64-bit slots), either a K7D or A76266-D. I'm either going to running in RAID5 (most probable) or possibly RAID10. Before I jump, is there anything I should know about these things (board compatibility, performance problems, etc)?

A rough back-of-the-envelope calculation shows that the U160 bandwidth may be the limiting factor. The X15's do between 38MB/sec and 49MB/sec, so even just 3 of them could saturate the bus at full blast. Given that there will be some time spent seeking (though not that much ... :) ) how much of a limitation is the U160 going to be?
