Can I lap my KT333 northbridge without damaging it?

I'd like to lap my KT7-A's northbridge but I'm afraid I might damage its core. Are my worries unnecessary?
 
It's the same kinds of worries when lapping anything.

The KT333 shouldn't need lapping but if you want to it's the same way as lapping the NF2. Keep in mind the KT333 isn't as thick as the NF2 northbridge.

Use the guide in the voltmod section.
 
You won't gain much benefit from it. Just replace past, use good sink and it will be fine.
If you want more from your computery, youd have to use other mobo - afte I switched from A7V333 to A7V880 it's so much better.
