ok so I just put together a new Asus A8N SLI Deluxe system together. Installed WIndows 2003 and everything seems to be working. However under device manager and Universal Serial Bus controllers it shows the following
1. Standard Enchanced PCI to USB Host Controller
2. Standard OptenHCD USB Host Controller
3. USB Composite Device
4. USB Root Hub
5. USB Root hub
None of them say USB 2.0. SO I loaded Sisoft and it reports that the board has 2 USB controllers, Controller 1 is only 12MBps FUll Speed, the Second is High speed USb 2.0 480Mbps. So the question is which of the ports on the Asus is full speed as it is obvious that Asus liead about having 10 USB 2.0 ports when Sisoft clearly shows it has a USB 1.1 controller AND my Wireless G USB card is running only at 11Mbps right now. Are the ones on the back of the board usb 1 or 2 or the ones that come from the usb headers on the board itself?
