Klipsch Promedia sub to Receiver question

Is there any way that I can use the subwoofer from my Promedia 4.1 set to connect to my receiver? I am trying to get by temporarily until I can get the cash to get a good 12" sub.

I think I would have to go from an RCA from the receiver, to a minijack, then control the bass from the Klipsch control pod. That is unless there would be an easier way to do this.

Any comments would be welcome on this.

Well that is some good news to hear as I think my Klipsch sub sounds fine for now. Wouldn't mind having a 15" beast but that little 8" will do.

The cable hack worked perfectly. Now to find good sub placement.
