Problem with charging

I have a Dell Inspiron 5150, and the batteries are unable to charge. This is a new problem... the light turns on with the charger, and I've done everything on the Dell website.

Any ideas?

try removing the battery then keep it like that for 5 mintues and also check the connecting area for any dust if so wipe wel and reconnect and connect to the machine. Let it charge for around 2-3 hours with machien shutdown. Most of the time this should work out.
