Dungeon Siege 2 - not so far away now :)

I was/am a HUGE fan of the ms Dungeon Siege GAMES, I think DS was the best RPG ever released imo, the exp pack was nice, but as an RPG, DS really was a great release from the get-go. MP was good also, with trading of artifacts and so on, as in GW.

So with that said, I am eagerly looking forward to DS2, it looks sweet from what I have seen of the pre-release screenies and news items + beta.

Anyone else awaiting this RPG with interest?

Hopefully it will be a little longer this time around - nothing I hate more than really enjoying a game and getting into it - only for it to end quickly

Same here. I'm waiting for this game more than I did with HL2.

I just love DS: the perpetual search for more and better items. I played the chicken island map for countless of hours just to get a better staff.
Ah ... good memories. As a matter of fact, I played the SP part again just a couple of weeks ago.

*awaits the release impatiently*

It was supposed to be out last December, and now its summer time, and it may come out. One of the poeple that works on the game works at my college part time. I have seen screen shots and even played some beta and alpha versions, and all I have to say is the game is incredible

I miss the Diablo-esque lan party mayhem that is DS. WoW was just too huge for me, too engrossing. I think I'll like this game because I don't feel like I have to grind for hours just to play decently.
