I'm getting some G.Skill pc4800 for my next system because it seems every AMD processor can hit 300+ fsb. My question is i hear you can get 4.0 volts on a DFI would that kill the ram? If not i bet i could get some tighter timings at ddr600

G.Skill pc4800 will use tcc5 most likely which will not need that voltage. It will do it at around 3V. And yes 4V will most likely kill it. Also more voltage does not always mean better performance, some stuff dislikes voltage. Also not every a64 hits 300htt, I am talking to someone right now whose didn't even get close to it.
