ok, well we went out on our weekly hunt, and scored a flat screen, CRT sony trinitron monitor. Says HD compatable on the back, has 4 usb ports in the base, and has the VGA and RGB with HD and VD connections.

Well it does work, we get a test pattern when we turn it on saying "No signal"

So, i figure, ill just hook it up to my mac on the right monitor closer to my bed so i can watch hi quality movies on it.

What would give me the best results? RGBHDVD input? or the VGA input (says HDTV/VGA IN)?

Why someone threw this beuty out is beyond me, but i dont care its mine now lol

The VGA input will always give you a better picture (or at least that is what I have learned by messing around with projectors).

Also what size of monitor was it that you found?

well in theory a pure BNC connection will be awesome but you arent going to get one since it requires you to go from VGA>BNC and VGA is still the weakest link so just go with the VGA connectors
